As a specialist in commercial still-life photography, I view simple items as marvels of design and purpose. Each project is a unique work, and I try to convey thoughtfulness behind the shot. It is not a genre for all, but what I like about still life is the control I have over how I want things to look. I view my camera as a pencil and light as my eraser. I get rid of things I don’t need, and my signature style is characterized by dark backgrounds and dramatic highlights.
